I am so glad to finally post photos of the first quilt that I have ever made. This process was really fun, but I have to admit that it was much, much harder than I ever imagined. I was lucky enough to have a friend come over and help me out a bit, otherwise I would have been pretty exhausted.
I used an awesome tutorial that Elise posted last fall. You can find it here. I find that with a great tutorial like this, there is no reason to repeat another one! I would love, however, to share some photos I took along the way.
I finished the quilt with some pink satin trim. Apparently babies just love the feel of satin. Hopefully my new niece Jaela will enjoy this quilt! She will be born in April...I can't wait! I gave this quilt to my sister-in-law Josie at her baby shower this weekend. I am happy to say that she loved it!
