All of us girls in Renae's and my family recently had a suprise tea party for my sister, Annie. She's going to study abroad in Germany for a year (sniff sniff) and Renae's mom came up with the coolest idea. Suprise her at a local Tea shop, Taste and See Tea!
I love their motto: 'Taste and See that the Lord is good.'
Taste and See Tea is a non-profit ministry that works with shelters in the area to help women regain employment by providing internship opportunities. What a neat way to give back! I fell in love the minute I walked in! It was such a fun atmosphere! They had a whole table set up for us complete with tablecloth and full place settings. The food was AMAZE-ing. I highly reccomend the tomato basil soup. I don't even like tomato soup. And SO MUCH delicious tea! You can even buy it online. Some of my favorites were Cinnamon Stick and Good Harvest.
Check out these adorable (and delicious) heart scones!
They had unique tea pots for every kind of tea we ordered. This white one was probably my favorite!
If you're looking for a fun excuse for 'girl time,' this is a must! I'll definately be back!
