One of my goals for this year is to play more with Washi Tape! I'm going to have to blame my newest addiction on Renae.. Washi tape is freaking awesome! I saw a cute little tutorial here for these cute washi tape coasters, so I decided to make that my first project! I got little ceramic tiles from Lowes and went to work!
-Tiles
-Washi Tape
-Mod Podge
-Felt
-Hot Glue Gun
I started by picking out colors I liked together, then making cute patterns on my tiles.
Once you're happy with the design, Mod Podge over the tops and the sides to seal the Washi. Let dry. I added a second coat of Mod Podge for good measure.
Lastly, cut felt squares the size of your tiles and use the hot glue gun to attach them to the bottoms. This way you wont scratch up your pretty surfaces. Enjoy!!
For those of you who don't have rolls and rolls of Washi Tape laying around, here are some links to a couple of my favorite stores!
Have fun in your Washi endeavors!!
