I have loved kraft paper for years and years now. Recently, I got a gigantic roll of kraft paper. Literally, it's four feet wide, and 200 feet long! (As a sidenote, let me just say, Amazon Prime is a little dangerous!) I have a million ideas floating around for what I could do with it - I need to start writting them down before I forget! A few on my list right now are homemade wrapping paper, some kind of giant wall hanging, bunting and mini-sketch books.
Anyways, I finally got a chance to do my first project with it - it was so simple. A combination of a table runner / tablecloth. I rolled out enough to cover my dining room table, and cut it so that it fit with about an inch of space of each edge. Then came the fun part! I wanted a kind of southwestern theme so I drew a geometric design on it with diamonds, triangles and arrows in the middle. On the edges I wrote all the guest's name next to their seat. I also tried putting kraft stickers on everyone's glasses which worked pretty well, we didn't end up with 20 glasses to wash!
You can also see some little flags I made with kraft paper in yesterday's post. Anyone else making fun things with kraft paper recently?
