We are all craving spring around here! We're ready for some warmer weather, to see the first flowers pop up, the fresh scent after a good rain storm, to see everything turning green. Today I saw a whole flock of robins in my backyard, so hopefully that means spring is on it's way! And while green is the quintessential color of spring, with all the gray recently, yellow seemed like the perfect photo prompt for this week!
I love daffodils, they are so cheerful, they seem like the should have little smiley faces on them. Back in our college days, when Jenn and I shared an apartment, we planted daffodils in our tiny patch of garden out front. They remind me of those years in our first place! When I saw these mini ones for $3.50, I just couldn't pass them up!
My photo is a little less "springy" than Renae's! The only flowers I have in my place are my leftover red roses from V-Day. :) I took a photo of my favorite mug...its a hand painted pottery mug given to me by a dear friend. I enjoy curling up under my crochet blanket and drinking tea before I head to work.
And Sarah's -
My photo is of (another) Chevron blanket I'm working on. It started out as a road trip time killer, and now I'm in love with the colors: White, Yellow, and Grey! I'll be sure and post on the finished blanket when I'm done!
Happy Friday everyone!
