I made a quick little project this week using some of my favorite washi tapes! I wanted to make something fun for the wall, but these could easily be put on a card and made into an adorable Valentine. Here is how I made them:
Supplies: -White Cardstock
-Pretty washi tapes in similar colors
-Stencil
-Pen & Scissors
I placed my washi tape diagonally onto the white cardstock and allowed some to overlap. Really, it was quite a random placement, and I did it while watching TV one night. I love how the washi tape is semi translucent, so you can see each layer below. I used my stencil to trace two different sizes of hearts onto the cardstock and then cut them out. I arranged them over a lightswitch for a little decoration, just using basic scotch tape to attach them to the wall. I think they look pretty cute!
I like to take the opportunity with every holiday to make some fun craft projects, but Valentines' Day is extra fun!
There is just something so fun when you combine pretty pink hearts with paper and scissors. :)
