I am proud and happy to say that for nearly two weeks I have been able to get outside and walk daily! This has been an enormous change from my first trimester when I did nothing but lay around and throw up. Even though I still don't feel 100%, I am thrilled that I've spent so much time outdoors. I just love it!
I've been good about posting a photo onto instagram each day that I get out. This is a fun way to keep me accountable! It's a bit hard to come up with something unique every day, but it's still an enjoyable challenge. I put together a quick collage of my photos from the week.
This week has been especially awesome because it's "Pink Week" in Seattle! That's when all the ornamental cherries start blooming and they are FABULOUS. There are also some white and pink trees at Green Lake which smell fantastic. I am not sure what type of tree they are, but I sure love them.
I hope anyone reading this will take some inspiration and go for a walk! Really anyone can do it, and it's fun to make a goal to walk daily. Even for 5 minutes. I will promise that you will enjoy the fresh air at the very least!
