For this week's photo prompt we decided to break out of our usual box a bit and go with a black & white photos, as opposed to our usual themes. I had fun dusting off my "real" camera this week and taking some pictures at Greenlake on a quick trip to Seattle. I have so many pictures of Greenlake, but flipping through all of them, this one kind of jumped out at me - it captures the ripples from rocks being tossed in the water. I also like how you can see the relection of the myself and the camera in the water below.
Here's My Photo:
We went to the Flour Mill here in Spokane this last week with my Grandma. I love the old building and its cool structure! Definately a must go in this town!
I find that the best photos to turn to black & white are indoor photos. Often in poor lighting my photos will look really yellow. I solve the color problem by removing the color completely! I find that baby and children photos also look awesome in black & white. Above, you can see my cat Leo who at the moment is my most photogenic child because mine is not yet born. :) Speaking of children, I get to visit my new neice Jaela this weekend! I am sure I will have many photos to share after visiting that little cutie.
Thanks for stopping by! Hopefully everyone is having a lovely Friday!
