Matty took this photo of me in front of his Mom's rhododendron bush with my iPhone. It was a bit late and the exposure isn't awesome. But its a photograph, just the same. I'm glad I'm documenting my ever-expanding belly in any way I can.
This week she really grew! I am finally feeling fully pregnant. I love that she kicks all the time. Sometimes it even keeps me company when I'm alone. Truly, I am never really alone, after all.
Fortunately the sickness has almost completely subsided, and although it was replaced by a head-cold this week, I have been feeling SO much better!
My doctor visit went well. Belly is the right size. Really, everything is a-okay. I decided this week that I wasn't going to complain as much about being pregnant, even though there are some crazy discomforts. For instance, last weekend I ran about half of a 12k race and ended up straining my pelvis. Apparently my ligaments are super loose and running was probably not a good idea. So now that I have healed and can walk again, I will be sticking to only walking for the rest of my pregnancy. This is pretty sad for a runner-girl like me, but it seems to be good for baby girl. So this week complaining less has actually helped. I feel much better.
Some exciting news is that Mom and Renae are over for the weekend helping me set up the baby room. We have already made a little bit of progress, which you may have seen on my instagram. I will continue to post lots of updates! Thanks for following along.
