I saw this cute idea once to use forks to label the plants in your garden. Since I have no green thumb, knowing what is what in my garden also comes as a challenge. Here's my quick and easy tutorial for forks-turned garden signs!
-Forks (20 cents/piece at a thrift store)
-Paintbrushes
-Paint ( I used black and light blue)
Paint the forks up to the tines with your base color. I left the tines so I'd have something to hold, and since they'll be in dirt anyways! Allow them to dry, add a second layer if desired.
With your second color, add your plant names.
Depending on what kind of paint you use, you might want to consider a finishing spray. I used Mod Podge Acrylic Sealer Spray.
Stick the forks into your garden, and never wonder what plants are growing again! ;)
