As some of you may know, I recently started my own little flower business, Sarah's Flowers! I was prompted by my own wedding this summer, as well as the weddings of four other friends, and Sarah's Flowers was created. Its been really fun, a way for me to be really creative outside of work! You can follow me on Facebook here!
I'm going to start doing occasional flower posts dedicated to a specific type of flower, to help my creativity! We'll call them 'inspired by' flower posts.
Today's post is all about Scabiosa Pods. They're also known as the pincushion flower, they're little brown-green balls of wonderfulness! I seriously think they're my new favorite thing! I love the organic, textured look they add to a floral arrangement! Take a look:
The combination of those callas, succulents, roses and scabiosa is just amazing, don't you think?
I love this look of a scabiosa boutonniere! I actually used them for the boutonniere's for our wedding, but I don't have the photos back yet! I'll be sure to share when I do!
