Lucy Anne VanEenoo made her grand entrance into the world on Tuesday, September 17th. She was born at 11:20 am. At birth, she weighed 9 lb, 9 oz and she was 19.5 inches long. She is the most beautiful baby girl in the world!!
It has been a wild ride, to say the least. But we are all happy and healthy! Lucy eats well and sleeps well. Mom...not so much. I really love to stay awake and watch her sleep! (Not really...I've just been overtaken by insomnia.)
We have been blessed with lots and lots of loving visitors. Lucy has so many friends and family that already love her to death! We've been given food, gifts and flowers. I feel so lucky! It also breaks up the days because otherwise I am sitting, nursing, drinking water and pretending to sleep. It's a fun life. :)
I am recovering well from pregnancy and childbirth! The nine months of nausea is finally gone! It's lovely to be on the other side. Even with all the lovely after effects from a difficult delivery, I am happy to say that its better for Lucy to be on the outside. We all think so, I think.
