I don't know about you, but I'm getting reeeeally sick of all this dreary, blustery weather. It barely snows, and then it melts, and right now there's a 'lake' in my back yard. Talk about disgusting. So to cheer myself up, (much to Nate's chagrin) I made a happy wreath for my front door. It might look a little Easter-ish... But it makes me smile whenever I come or go!
(I think Renae has shared this DIY wreath somewhere before, but I couldn't find the link)
1. Tear your fabric strips into approx 1x6 inch pieces. This gives them that 'frayed' look. I used 9 of those little fabric scraps from Joanns.
2. Undo the hanger, then mold it into a circular shape.
3. Put on your favorite movie, grab a cup of tea, and start tying your strips around the hanger to get the desired look! I didn't have any particular order, just added them randomly for whatever I thought looked good.
Happy Crafting!
