It's that time of year again... to decide whether to stay on or get off the Project Life bandwagon. I decided to give it another go this year but I'm planning to change things up a bit to make it work better for me.
Reasons I love Project Life. It's easy to add to little by little. It's photo heavy. It's conducive to adding ephemera - I can't stop collecting bits & pieces everywhere I go. I'm in love with my Studio Calico Project Life kits!
Now for the things I'm changing up this year - No more extra corner rounding for me, I'm digging square corners. I'm planning to add lots of 12x12 square pocket page protectors for my Instagrams, it's too hard to fit Instagrams into the rectangular format. I'm also going to try and add more white space to my spreads and use those lovely Studio Calico journaling cards! And most importantly, I need to let go of my perfectionist tendencies so I'm going to go by month not by week.
With all that said, here are my must have essentials for Project Life.
Photos* | Staz-On Ink | 4x6 Cards | 2x3 Cards | Paper Trimmer
Date Stamp | iPhone** | Ephemera | Post Its | Scissors | Black Pen | Tiny Attacher
Not Pictured Items: 12x12 D-Ring Binder, Page Protectors Design A & 9 Square Pockets, Project Life Binder - Seafoam Edition
*Photos - If you're curious I use the Canon MG 6320 for printing pictures at home.
**iPhone - Besides using a lot of iPhone photos, I also love the AfterLight app for quick edits, the ABeautifulMess app for photo collages and adding text to iPhone pictures, and the Canon iEPP app for printing straight from my phone.
For the fellow Project Lifers out there... What about you? Are you changing anything up for Project Life this year? What are your must haves? I'd love to hear what works for you or hasn't worked well in the past.
