Before going any further, I need to credit this blog for this amazing idea! I love how this blogger photographs her weekly ephemera, journals about it, and then throws it away! I must admit, I'm not brave enough to actually get rid of all these lovely papers. Instead, they will be finding their way into my Project Life spread. But I thought it was a fun idea! This week my "paper" was extra fun, so I thought this would give me an opportunity to do some journaling.
1. Letter From Lucy: My dear Great Aunt Lucy from Virginia has continued to send our Lucy cute little letters in the mail. Nothing is better than snail mail...am I right? She also send her a hand knit pink sweater. So awesome!
2.Whiskey & Beer Walk map: This was an event in Magnolia that Matt attended with a good friend. Even though L and I stayed in that night, I thought it would be fun to document. After all, Project Life is about our whole family.
3. Baby clothing tags: Lucy is fitting in nine month clothes now! ( And a few 12 month pants, but I won't go too much in detail because it might make her self conscious about the size of her behind...don't worry, Lucy, you are beautiful!) Anyway, we got some new clothes at the outlet mall this weekend. She got some fun new clothes for summer, all bright and fun colors.
4. Package and card from our photographer, Corlana: We got our pictures in the mail!!! I am so excited. I will share a few favorite photos on the blog soon. I hope to print out a few to send to relatives, and also enlarge a couple for our livingroom.
5. RoozenGaard tickets: These were from the Tulip Festival this weekend, just north of Seattle. We managed to sneak in on the last weekend. Although not in their full glory, the tulips are still pretty incredible. I plan to share some photos later this week.
6. Avocado packaging: I love getting these from Trader Joe's, although we have to eat them fast! It helps that we have a third little eater in our house now. Lucy is a big fan of the avocado.
Thanks for reading! I hope to share posts like this every couple of weeks or so. My life in paper is not this exciting every week, unfortunately. And thank you Caylee for the inspiration! If you love Project Life, you should definately check out her blog. :)
