Below, you will see a TON of photos of our trip this past weekend. We had so much fun! We camped in the Lake Wenatchee area, and found that it was one of our favorite places to camp ever. I love that as you drive through the rain on highway 2, you almost immediately see blue skies and sunshine as you cross Steven's Pass to the East side of the mountains.
Eight of us camped together, not including little Lucy! It was a really fun group. We ate lots of delicious food, of course, and spent a decent amount of time around the campfire. We also made time for several little walks down to Lake Wenatchee and of course did some hiking and galavanting in Leavenworth. Matt loved to have the chance to mountain bike with his friends.
A huge highlight was getting to spend time with my awesome friends. I was so thankful for all of their help with Lucy! It truly does take a village to raise a child, and this group of people was the best "village" to have around. My daughter is a social little gal, and she loved to spend so much time with her Uncles and Aunts.
I noticed that my friend Corlana has already posted some photos from our trip on her blog. She is an amazing photographer and I love some of those photos of Lucy. Go check them out here.
Have a great weekend everyone! I hear that it should be a nice one here in Seattle. Next week Renae will be back from her awesome vacation and we should be back to daily blogging. Thanks for taking the time of look at all my photos.
