The last time I was in Spokane, the date happily coincided with the Farm Chicks Show! Sarah and I went together on Saturday afternoon and both found a bunch of good stuff! Sarah found a little cart that she is going to use as a coffee cart and a cute little stand to display coffee mugs on top. We both nabbed some vintage shelving to turn into air plant displays! I found a turquoise citrus reamer and pie plate, a record stand and some old milk crates. Fun stuff!
This is the fourth time I've had the chance to go, and every time it is packed to the brim with awesome vintage finds and adorable handmade items. The displays are just the best, the vendors are incredibly creative - I'm always amazed.
Serena, the founder of the Farm Chicks, lives in Spokane. She started the show several years ago, and it has grown and grown! To the point that it is now hosted at the Spokane Fairgrounds. If you've never had the chance to go and you're from the Pacific Northwest, you've got to put it on your calendar for next year - it's always the first weekend in June. I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you're into vintage, retro or crafty stuff. I always walk away feeling overwhelmed with inspiration in the best way possible!
