This weekend, I was whipping up some birthday cards and thought I'd share this idea, just in case anyone needs a last minute card. I don't usually like buying cards, it's more fun to make them at home plus you can save a little money - especially if you already have the supplies. This card is super easy to make, and you might have all the supplies at home already! All you need is some washi tape, a pair of scissors, some pens and a blank card.
Cut a few strips of washi tape, approximately the same length. If you want skinny candles cut the tape in half. Apply to the card. I found it pretty easy to peel off and reposition until I was happy with the layout. Draw a little flame on top of each candle. Then write "Happy Birthday" below and you are all set! Alternatively, if you're not a fan of the handwritten look you could stamp the message or spell it out with letter stickers too! Either way, it's sure to be cute!
Hope you are all having a happy Monday!
