At the moment I'm in the middle of my night shift rotation for my day job. Usually at the halfway point, I'm feeling fairly grumpy and foggy. And foggy, yes, feeling that. Night shift brain, yep, that too. Under motivated, yep, for sure - definitely in survival mode. But strangely enough, more than any of the above, I'm feeling incredibly grateful right now.
Grateful for an incredibly supportive husband.
Grateful for friends who are willing to help me get out of the house in the afternoons and hang out in the evenings.
Grateful for my awesome coworkers.
Grateful that I'm not working full time nights somewhere else.
Grateful that Joe installed AC for me so I could sleep during the day.
Grateful for food appearing on the table (from above husband and friends and co-workers) since my drive to keep myself fed has pretty much disappeared.
Grateful for my kitty, who sleeps by my side all day and magically knows how to be quiet.
Grateful for typical Seattle weather this week, rainy days are the best for sleeping...
