I don't know about you guys, but at my house, we eat tacos year round... not just in the lovely summer months. Homemade fish and shrimp tacos are some of my favorites! Easy to make for a crowd, or on a work night, and always delicious! People often ask us for the recipe for the sauce that goes on top and well, we don't really have one. It's one of those, 'you know a little bit of this, and then this and that to taste'... and that my friends is a terrible recipe. The kind you try and recreate at home and are just so darn disappointed when it doesn't turn out like you remembered.
So I decided it was about time I tried to figure it out. So last night that's just what I did. Now you can make it yourself whenever you please. And yes, you're welcome!
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 cup lime juice
1 tsp dill
1 tsp cumin
Pinch of salt
DIRECTIONS
Add all the ingredients together in a bowl. Stir really well until smooth. Serve with tacos. That's it!
PS. The blurry photo is from this summer. Not picture perfect, but a memory of a perfect evening!
